December 8, 2019 - 7:00 p.m. - Chuck Collins served as guest speaker for the TCF Brandywine Hundred Chapter’s annual Candle Lighting ceremony, scheduled at the Silverside Church, located at 2800 Silverside Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19810. During the Covid outbreak, Chuck also conducted grief workshops remotely for various chapters.

In Memoriam: Our Beloved Kathy Collins

Chuck Collins’ beautiful wife, Kathy Collins, passed away on October 22, 2022, suffering from a dementia-related disease. Kathy began as a TCF chapter leader in 2001, and in 2006, was named regional coordinator for nineteen chapters in Virginia and Washington, D.C. In 2007, Kathy was selected for the TCF “Chapter Leader of the Year” award. Ten years later, Kathy was a co-recipient of the coveted “Simon Stephens Award,” TCF’s highest honor. Last July, 2023, Chuck Collins accepted an “In Memoriam Award” presented in Kathy’s honor during the TCF national conference in Denver, Colorado. Her family takes solace in knowing that Kathy has been reunited with her beloved daughter, Tiffanie. Kathy is no doubt surrounded by many of the countless children, siblings, and grandchildren, whose families she comforted following their untimely deaths. Kathy is missed by her family every second of every day.
